The science behind ESTTECH lighting. No marketing fluff.

PATENTED LENSED TECHNOLOGY

THE LENS
IS THE PRODUCT

Our lens program started in 2001 on street-lighting applications, where beam precision and longevity matter more than marketing. We brought that optical engineering directly into horticulture — with custom secondary lenses that target beam angles from 30° to 90°.

That means light goes where you need it — deep into the canopy, below 120 CM — instead of bleeding off the edges or bleaching tops. Same driver, same watts, more usable photons at the sites that matter.

THREE FULL SPECTRUMS

WHY we RUN
ALL THREE TOGETHER

Warm-white + UV + far-red on every diode — so you get a true full spectrum in every chip, not from color-mixing across a fixture.

☀️

WARM-WHITE

280–800 NM · 2700K

Every diode covers wavelengths from 280 NM to 800 NM, combining HPS and CMH spectra into a warm 2700K base that mimics the HPS light your plants already know. It reduces plant stress while supporting optimal development.

🟣

ULTRAVIOLET

380–500 NM

UV wavelengths from 380 NM to 500 NM drive germination, enhance plant structure, and trigger terpene and trichome production across the full growth cycle.

🔴

FAR-RED

700–800 NM

Far-red light from 700 NM to 800 NM promotes larger leaf development, triggers flowering in photoperiod-sensitive plants, and boosts overall yield potential.

SPEC GLOSSARY

SPEC GLOSSARY

every acronym on a spec sheet — in plain english, with units.

PPF

µmol/s

Photosynthetic photon flux — the total number of usable light photons a fixture emits per second. This is the total output number, not what reaches your canopy.

PPE

µmol/J

Photosynthetic photon efficacy — how efficiently a fixture converts watts into usable photons. The biggest single number for rebate qualification and energy roi.

PPFD

µmol/m²/s

Photosynthetic photon flux density — the light intensity that actually hits your canopy at a specific hang height. This is what your plants respond to.

IP65 / UL8800

INGRESS + WET-LOC.

IP65 means dust-tight and protected from low-pressure water jets. UL8800 is the u.S. Standard for horticultural lighting in wet locations — required by many rebate programs.

PF & THD

POWER QUALITY

Power factor and total harmonic distortion describe how cleanly a fixture draws power. Utilities penalize low pf and high thd — ESTTECH fixtures target pf >0.95 and thd <20%.

DAISY-CHAIN

120V / 240V / 277V

Maximum number of fixtures you can link per circuit. ESTTECH fixtures are rated for 120V, 240V, and 277V with high daisy-chain counts to minimize wiring labor.

BUILD QUALITY

BUILD QUALITY

every fixture is designed for humid, dusty, demanding rooms — and built to last 50,000+ hours without fans or failures.

💧

IP65 PROTECTION

Dust-tight and protected against water jets. Runs through daily washdown, humid flower rooms, and dusty greenhouse benches without ingress.

❄️

OVERBUILT HEAT SINKS

Passive thermal management with oversized aluminum heat sinks — no fans, no bearings, no mid-cycle failures. Silent, efficient, and long-lived.

🔌

DAISY-CHAIN WIRING

Built-in high-count daisy-chain ports at 120V / 240V / 277V cut install labor dramatically versus home-run wiring — a real line item ON large projects.
